Sharing Dreams is a not-for-profit organisation based in The Mantaro Valley, and is managed and driven by volunteers. It is legally registered in the Public Records of Peru.
We have developed first-hand social programs, without intermediaries, in the most vulnerable villages of the Peruvian Andes, where there exists the highest concentration of people living in extreme poverty and economic, social and cultural exclusion.
We offer a different form of non-commercial volunteering. This is aimed at organising groups that use their own resources to improve and drive self-development and quality of life. At the same time, they continue to restore and honour their ancient Andean culture, which focuses on respecting nature, mutual support and reciprocity.
This project is aimed at children that come from migrant Andean families. These areas are characterised by extreme poverty. The great majority consists of dysfunctional families that suffer from problems such as malnutrition, domestic violence, family abandonment and that are at social risk...
Volunteering with Women's Groups
Our "Warmy" project, which translated from Quechua means Woman, aims to form emotional self-help groups in areas such as domestic violence, self-esteem, group and company organisation targeting women of the Peruvian Andes...
We base our principles on self-development, work freedom and a flat-structured team. We are open to all ideas, and thus, planning is coordinated by all participants. In addition, our Organisation is open to participation from any who wish to collaborate with us and be an integral part of our team. We develop our projects ourselves and they are open throughout the year. We invite you to become part of this rewarding experience, driven by you, where, as part of the team, you will become acquainted with and enjoy first-hand the culture of this ancient land and all its wonders.
